What a fun day out! For anyone willing to explore, this place is awesome. You just have to give yourself over to not worrying about the time, a map, whether you are missing something - just go with it, open your eyes, and pay attention to the incredible things around you. From floor, to ceiling, to shelf this place if filled with incredible objects. Sure, there is the famous stuff - signed guitars, famous people's photos, but we got also got excited about old recipe books, vintage hair dryers, cool shaped bathtubs and the list goes on. It was awesome.

We were limited on time and only able to stay a couple of hours, but we managed to find around 20 doors. The collection of items was incredible and displayed in a manner that made sense. If I'm ever back in DC, this will be my first stop!

So much fun! Just as the tour describes, you get lost! But it was so fun! Definitely recommend to anyone!

Such a great place! I was there 4 months ago and found many rooms I hadn't seen on that trip. I love that things are donated for sale to support the mission. Unfortunately I feel that many items are very overpriced. I would think they would be priced for turnover.
