This was fun date day for hubs and me. I'm terrible at finding these doors but I was so fun seeing all the treasures.

We had a ball at the Mansion! We've been to D.C. before and toured many of the historical monuments and museums. We wanted to change things up this time around and we're so glad we did. Everyone was kind and welcoming. We loved the design of the many rooms and had a great time exploring. We were able to find most of the large hidden doors. We'll look forward to getting lost in the Mansion again on our next trip.

The Mansion is definitely a one-of-a-kind experience! Having found out about it on Atlas Obscura, I knew I had to visit. My wife, my brother, his wife, and their daughters all loved the challenge of finding secret doors, exploring the memorabilia in the house, and just generally exploring all the zany wackiness mixed with impactful history. We'd all highly recommend the experience to anyone visiting DC as well as to those who live there and may have never realized this little gem exists!

Definitely the coolest place I've been to in DC. I wish I could stay there overnight for my next visit!
